glassfish-jmac-api software package provides Open source Java EE 5 Application Server, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install glassfish-jmac-api
glassfish-jmac-api is installed in your system.
Make ensure the glassfish-jmac-api package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep glassfish-jmac-api *
You will get with glassfish-jmac-api package name, version, architecture and description in a table
